Chalet URA — newly renovated in 2024 — is a spacious, non-smoking, whole-house rental that can comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests, along with your beloved pets.

Set on a generous 1000 square meters property, the well-maintained garden invites you to enjoy memorable moments under the open sky, including delightful barbecues with your pets.

Inside, you’ll find four bedrooms — two Western-style rooms and two Japanese-style rooms — along with three toilets, two bathrooms, and a dedicated office space, ensuring a relaxed and comfortable stay for families and groups alike.

Although nestled in a quiet part of the historic old town, Chalet URA offers easy walking access to some of Kushiro’s most famous attractions, including the renowned Nusamai Bridge, known for one of the world's three most beautiful sunsets, and the lively Suehirocho entertainment district.

- Get off at "Urami 2-chome" bus stop and walk about 1 minute to the property.

- About 10 minutes from JR Kushiro Station (approximately ¥1,500)

Policy

The entire building is strictly non-smoking. The use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited.
Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation up to 3 days before the check-in date.
- 50% of the total fee will be charged for cancellations made 1 or 2 days before the check-in date.
- 100% of the total fee will be charged for cancellations made on the day of check-in or for no-shows.
Payment Timing:
- Full payment is required at least one week before the check-in date.
- If the reservation is made within one week of the check-in date, payment must be made on the same day.
We accept payments via bank transfer or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners, Discover).
Children:
- Children under 2 years old stay free of charge.

- Up to 5 pets are allowed.

Pet Policy

This policy outlines the regulations for staying at Chalet URA with pets.
Pets that are not permitted:
- Dogs that have not received rabies and other required vaccinations within the past year
- Puppies under 6 months old
- Pets that bark excessively or exhibit aggressive behavior toward other guests or pets (such as fighting breeds)
- Pets that are in heat or pregnant
- Pets with infectious diseases, fleas, ticks, diarrhea, or other health issues
- Birds of prey, wild animals, reptiles, venomous insects, or any other dangerous animals
Pet size and number limits:
- Up to 5 small dogs, or
- Up to 3 medium-sized dogs, or
- 2 large dog
Liability:
- We are not responsible for any illness, injury, death, disappearance, or other issues involving your pet during your stay.
- In the event of any accidents, injuries, damages, or disturbances caused by your pet — including harm to other pets, guests, or our staff, or damage to the property or its furnishings — the pet owner will be held fully responsible.
- You will be required to cover all costs for repairs, cleaning, and any compensation for damages or losses incurred.
Other rules:
- If you do not comply with our instructions, or if false information is provided, we reserve the right to refuse your stay.
- All care for your pet, including feeding, waste disposal, and other needs, is the full responsibility of the owner.
- While we thoroughly clean our facilities, please understand that it may not be possible to completely remove pet hair or odors due to their nature.
- Brushing your pet indoors is not allowed.
- Pets are not permitted on beds or sofas.
- Please bring your own pet bedding (such as beds or mats) for your pet's comfort.
